Water, Fall
I don’t want to be civilised.
I want to live where there are no
vacant soulless eyes,
To jump the cliffs to swim with
weightless tides.
Falling to the nothingness, with the
ever graceful gasp of life.
To sing and merge and love and part,
To rise and fall and slip and start.
To feel the cold stone resist
against my ever breaking speed of flight,
To melt to sound with the silent
drowning black of night.
To be free to haunt and dance and
flip and rant,
To brush the ever pleading trees and
glance.
The rushing force of freedom of the
minutest hesitation,
To career unendingly to my final
destination.
To know that upon the morrow’s sun,
I shall again begin what I had begun.
